* The state of Texas requires the LTC class take 4-6 hours for completion. Range qualification may be additional time beyond class room time.
Topics Covered:
** Laws that relate to weapons and the use of deadly force
** Handgun use and safety including: Care/cleaning of the handgun, use of restraint holsters for securing open carry guns
** Non-violent dispute resolution
** Proper storage practices for handguns with an emphasis on helping to eliminate the possible injury to a child

Cost:
* $70 and $60 for military (range fees are included)
* $45 On-Line Course Range Proficiency Portion (range fees are included). A 1-2 hour Safety Brief is required by Texas state LTC law.
* Preferred forms of payment: Cash/Check or PayPal (kcrozier78247@att.net)
* If using PayPal an extra $5 ($10 couple) will be added to the course cost
* There is no requirement to own a handgun to take the course
* Gun rental with 1 box of appropriate ammo: $40
* Ammo only: $20/box (available ammo: .22/.380/9MM)

What do I need to bring: ** Semi-automatic handgun or a revolver in good repair (unloaded and in a case)
** .22 caliber handgun or above (You may shoot with a semi-automatic handgun or revolver and carry either one)
** Baseball Cap (recommended)
** Impact Resistant Safety Glasses (can be provided)
** Ear Protection (can be provided)
** Footwear that covers both entire feet
** 50 rounds (minimum) of ammunition specific to the handgun that will be used for the course
** Snacks/drinks******** Only commercial ammunition is allowed. |
** Maintain control of the firearm
** Put firearm down on the ground or bench (if necessary)
** Bend Over
** Grab shirt/bra and pull away from the body
** Clear the brass
